This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident in their clinical skills, and genuinely enjoys working with children and families.If you take pride in delivering high-quality care while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, we’d love to connect with you.What You'll DoAssist the pediatric dentist during a variety of dental treatment proceduresProvide gentle, supportive care to pediatric patients and help manage child behavior during appointmentsPrepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipmentCapture digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient recordsEducate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment careMaintain a clean, organized and sterile work environmentSupport team members and office operations as needed Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocolsWhat We're Looking ForCurrent Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure through the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)Current/active Nitrous Oxide certification or eligibility to sit for the exam (REQUIRED)Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred)Strong computer and data entry skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesCommitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient carePositive attitude and a team-oriented mindsetSchedule Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (every other Friday off) Two late evenings per month: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (during the school year) No weekendsTeam members arrive prior to patient hours and stay until daily responsibilities are complete. We offer a consistent, predictable schedule with built-in time off, allowing for strong work-life balance.Position Details Must be available to work at both Mount Pleasant locations (29464 and 29466)Open to full or part time applicants
