If you like complex buildings, thoughtful coordination, and seeing your work move from model to jobsite, you’ll fit in well here!We’re looking for a Recent Graduate Electrical Engineer/Designer who can support design, collaborate in a technology driven BIM environment, and grow with a strong team through real project work.What you’ll doElectrical Systems Design SupportSupport Lighting Design, Electrical Distribution Design, Fire Alarm Design, and Standby Generator Systems DesignSupport new building construction design and help develop coordinated electrical deliverablesAssist with designing working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications, and cross-sections of underground cables as neededCoordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams in a real-time Revit/BIM workflowWhat will make you successfulRequiredStrong interest in building construction design and electrical building systemsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or graduating soon)Willingness and ability to work in a Revit-first BIM workflow and learn quickly in a collaborative environmentPreferredRevit experience (or strong exposure through internships/co-ops/projects)EIT preferred (or clear intent/timeline to obtain)Exposure to any of the following through internships, co-ops, coursework, or project work:Lighting DesignElectrical Distribution DesignFire Alarm DesignStandby Generator Systems DesignNew Building Construction DesignWorking drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications, or underground cable cross-sectionsProject types you may supportJSE supports a robust portfolio of project types including multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, office, retail/restaurant, industrial, data center, and healthcare construction projects.Why join JSE?Jordan & Skala Engineers is a great place to build a long-term career.
