Electronics Engineering Technician Ventura, CA Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Candidates must have the ability to obtain Security Clearance Job Summary The Electronics Engineering Technician supports engineering and development activities through hardware fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and basic laboratory operations. This role involves building and modifying electronic and mechanical assemblies based on engineering drawings, as well as conducting testing and validation of components and systems. The position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. Flexibility to work any shift is required.Job ResponsibilitiesFabricate electronic and electrical chassis and mechanical racks using engineering drawings and specificationsPerform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic assemblies and subassembliesDisassemble and reassemble components as part of testing and repair processesInterpret technical drawings, diagrams, and process specificationsSupport laboratory operations, including equipment setup and maintenanceMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow established procedures, standards, and work instructionsCommunicate technical issues with internal teams, customers, and vendorsLift and move materials up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring ladder use as neededJob RequirementsAssociate's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferredExperience with electronic assembly, fabrication, and testingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationHands-on experience with troubleshooting electronic assembliesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accuratelyAbility to work independently and manage tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills for cross-functional collaborationAbility to work any shift as requiredPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform light climbing tasksEducationAssociate's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferredWork ExperiencePrior experience in engineering lab support, electronics fabrication, or related field preferred
