Manager of End User Computing (EUC) & Client Architecture

The Manager of End User Computing (EUC) & Client Architecture is responsible for the strategy, architecture, engineering, security, lifecycle management, and operational delivery of enterprise endpoint and virtual desktop technologies across the organization. This role leads a team of approximately 15 technical professionals supporting endpoint management, virtual desktop infrastructure, mobility, software deployment, patch management, and end-user experience initiatives in a highly regulated, payment-processing environment.This role also includes responsibility for endpoint and infrastructure support of payment processing environments, including payment terminals and platforms such as CenPOS, as well as supporting specialized industry systems including automotive OEM-integrated applications.This role also includes responsibility for endpoint and infrastructure support of payment processing environments, including payment terminals and platforms such as CenPOS, as well as supporting specialized industry systems including automotive OEM-integrated applications.This role is fully onsite out of our HQ in FLL. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing EUC and client engineering team of approximately 15 engineers, administrators, architects, and support specialists.Establish operational objectives, KPIs, service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage staffing, performance management, succession planning, training, and vendor relationships.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric service delivery.End User Computing Strategy & ArchitectureDefine and execute enterprise EUC strategy, roadmap, and architecture standards.Lead modernization initiatives across desktop engineering, endpoint security, virtualization, and mobility platforms.Drive standardization and automation of endpoint deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve user experience, security, and operational efficiency.Endpoint Management & SecurityOversee enterprise endpoint management platforms including:TaniumMicrosoft IntuneMobile Device Management (MDM) platformsManage endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation, patch management, software distribution, and asset lifecycle.Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance frameworks.Partner with Information Security teams to implement endpoint hardening, zero-trust initiatives, and threat mitigation strategies.Virtual Desktop & Workspace ServicesLead architecture and operational support for:Citrix Virtual Apps and DesktopsVirtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environmentsOptimize virtual workspace performance, availability, scalability, and user experience.Support hybrid workforce initiatives and secure remote access solutions.ITSM & Operational ExcellenceManage IT service delivery processes leveraging:ServiceNowEnsure effective incident, problem, change, and configuration management practices.Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and operational efficiencies.Develop dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting for service performance and operational health.Payment Systems & Business Application SupportSupport endpoint and client architecture requirements for payment systems, including payment terminals and POS environments.Lead support, integration, and operational management of payment platforms such as CenPOS.Ensure high availability, security, PCI compliance, and audit readiness for payment-processing environments.Manage lifecycle, patching, and configuration of distributed payment endpoint devices.Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams to support enterprise business operations.Patching & Software Lifecycle ManagementOversee enterprise patch management strategy and execution across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VDI platforms, and payment endpoint devices.Ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and compliance with SLAs.Manage software packaging, deployment, version control, and endpoint lifecycle governance.Automotive Industry Systems SupportProvide endpoint and VDI support for automotive OEM systems and dealership platforms.Ensure compatibility, performance, and security of client environments supporting industry-specific applications.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5-8 years of progressive IT infrastructure and endpoint engineering experience.5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams in enterprise environments.Deep expertise with:TaniumMicrosoft IntuneMobile Device Management (MDM)Citrix Virtual Apps and DesktopsEnterprise patch management solutionsServiceNowExperience supporting payment systems, including payment terminals and POS environments.Strong knowledge of Windows endpoint architecture, endpoint security, software deployment, and VDI technologies.Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell.Strong understanding of ITIL practices and operational governance.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting largescale enterprise environment 25+ endpoints.Microsoft, Citrix, and Endpoint Management.Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and modern endpoint security frameworks.Experience with
