Field Engineer

Field Engineer Contract/ Contract to Hire Elmhurst, NY Responsibilities:Responsible for a broad scope of operational support and install, move, add, and change (IMAC) requests supporting IT infrastructure in office environments, reservation centers, and airport locationsProvides service and customer support during field visits or dispatchesDiagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutionsProduces timely and detailed service reportsDocuments processes and proceduresCollects and analyzes performance data to provide technical assistanceTies workflow to schedules and operational requirementsAccurately documents solutions related to complex technical issuesCreates workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolvedTroubleshoots and develops technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customersBuilds and maintains positive customer relationshipsAbility to use a ladder as needed Qualifications:Experience supporting IT infrastructure and end-user environments preferredStrong troubleshooting and customer service skillsAbility to work in office, reservation center, and airport environmentsExcellent documentation and communication skillsSIDA badge eligibility or experience preferred "All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran"
