Senior Instructional Designer (Leadership Development & AI-Enabled Workflow Transformation)Employment Type: Contract Work Arrangement: RemoteAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to lead the design and facilitation of a high-impact leadership workshop focused on workflow redesign in an AI-enabled business environment. This role will partner closely with senior HR leaders, Learning & Development teams, and business stakeholders to help leaders rethink processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and effectively navigate organizational change.The ideal candidate is a seasoned learning professional who combines deep instructional design expertise with exceptional facilitation skills, systems thinking capabilities, and a passion for helping leaders solve complex business challenges. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, and can transform complex concepts into engaging, actionable learning experiences.This is a fully remote contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Design & Content DevelopmentDesign and develop an end-to-end workshop experience focused on workflow redesign and AI integration.Create engaging, interactive learning experiences for managers through senior executive audiences.Develop workshop materials, facilitator guides, participant resources, and supporting content.Incorporate systems-thinking principles to help leaders identify process interdependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.Design activities including workflow mapping, guided discussions, reflection exercises, and peer feedback sessions.Utilize a rapid development approach to prototype, test, gather feedback, and refine learning solutions.FacilitationFacilitate highly interactive and engaging workshop sessions for leadership audiences ranging from managers to senior executives.Encourage participation, guide discussions, and foster meaningful dialogue.Challenge assumptions and help participants think critically about process improvement and organizational effectiveness.Effectively manage group dynamics while driving productive outcomes.Qualifications Required8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or related fields.Proven experience designing and facilitating leadership-focused learning programs and workshops.Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive-level audiencesStrong understanding of systems thinking and process improvement concepts.Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.PreferredExperience designing and delivering workshops for senior leaders and executives.Background in workflow redesign, organizational effectiveness, or business process improvement.Experience using Visio or similar process-mapping tools.Familiarity with AI applications and emerging technologies in business operations.Experience partnering with HR, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development teams.
