Job Title: Childcare Lead Teacher Location: 10651 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351, United States Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00am-6:00pm Salary: Lead Teacher $16.00 - 18.00/hour / Assistant Teacher $14.00 - 15.50/hour About Us We are a licensed childcare center in Florida dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and passionate Childcare Teachers to manage a classroom and support the growth and development of children through age-appropriate learning experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, patient, and knowledgeable of Florida childcare licensing requirements. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom staff Observe and document children’s development and progress Communicate effectively with parents and center administration Ensure compliance with DCF regulations and center policies Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Qualifications High School Diploma / GED CDA, FCCPC, or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (required for Lead Teacher role in Florida) Completed DCF required training hours Knowledge of Florida DCF licensing standards Previous childcare or lead teaching experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background screening and health requirements Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Insurances Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunities for professional growth and training If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a meaningful difference in young children’s lives, we would love to hear from you!
