Operations Manager

*Job Summary-* The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of a Tyrex Group Custom Cabling entity. The position requires a technical overview, knowledge in engineering and design, administrative skills, organizational aptitude, production planning and optimization of time/ cost efficiencies. You will confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capability, production schedule, and other considerations to facilitate production process. *Duties/ Responsibilities:* * Coordinate cross-functional communication between departments including quality control, assembly, and plant management to ensure seamless operations. * Manage resources effectively by overseeing production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination to optimize workflow. * Support activities including quoting, costing, and procedure development. * Align Operational activities with the business plan, setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators. * Review order allocations, shipment plans, and variety pack builds * Set and meet deadlines while improving operational processes * Generate work instructions and related documentation in support of production * Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels. * Escalate production or logistics issues immediately to management. *Required Experience:* * Three (3) plus years of operations management experience * Proven experience in production management, manufacturing management, or operations management within a manufacturing setting. * Experience with supply chain management, and production scheduling is highly desirable. * Manage resources effectively by overseeing production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination to optimize workflow. * Strong observation, analytical, numerical reasoning, business acumen and leadership skills * Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high pressure and changing environments. * Solid computer and productivity software skills. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite specifically Excel. * Bi-Lingual a plus. *Education:* * Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or other related fields a plus.
