Quality Technician II - 2nd Shift

Quality Technician IIThe Quality Technician II independently performs inspection and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. This role contributes to root cause investigations and supports continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities and Duties:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections with minimal supervisionInterpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Initiate and manage non-conformance reportsContribute to root cause investigations and corrective actionsCommunicate quality concerns and required adjustments to Production SupervisorsEnsure measurement equipment calibration and coordinate repairs as neededAssist with implementation and maintenance of ISO9001 standardsParticipate in internal auditsSupport process improvement initiativesMaintain detailed inspection documentationRequirementsEducation and Experience:Associate degree or technical school certification; or equivalent experience25 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in blueprint reading and use of precision measurement toolsFamiliarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferredStrong analytical and documentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsPhysical Requirements:May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.May lift or carry 50lbs.
