Title: Occupational Medicine PhysicianLocation: Charlotte, NCShift: Mon – Fri (8AM – 5 PM)Responsibilities:• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational and work-related injuries and illnesses.• Conduct pre-employment, DOT, and fit-for-duty physicals.• Provide health education, injury prevention strategies, and wellness initiatives for employees.• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions related to occupational exposures.• Collaborate with employers, HR professionals, and safety teams to promote workplace health and compliance.• Maintain accurate and confidential records within the EHR system.• Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and other federal/state occupational health :• MD or DO degree with an active and unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain).• Board Certified/Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required (occupational medicine experience preferred).• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and occupational health standards.• Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills.Benefits:• Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.• 401(k) plan with employer contributions.• 3 weeks PTO, paid holidays, CME allowance, and vacation stipend. xevrcyc • Paid malpractice insurance, license renewals, and lab coat provided.
