This role supports growing community demand and offers flexible scheduling, with Part-time or Full-time opportunities possible to meet your lifestyle needs.You’ll provide evidence-based diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology care across the lifespan while working collaboratively with an experienced ENT surgeon and APPs. This is an excellent opportunity for an Audiologist who values meaningful patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and a supportive team culture, all within a rural health system deeply committed to community-based care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive evaluations for hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders using behavioral and objective testing methodsInterpret test findings and develop evidence-based treatment plansProvide hearing aid evaluation, selection, fitting, programming, and follow-up careCounsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, device options, and communication strategiesProvide audiologic rehabilitation including communication training and hearing assistive technology recommendationsManage tinnitus through non-medical approachesCollaborate with ENT providers, neurologists, and physical therapists as neededMaintain accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMRDeliver high-quality care aligned with AVH values of compassion, teamwork, and clinical excellenceServices are provided primarily at AVH, with occasional outreach at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (Colebrook).
