Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections to prevent leaks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Handle heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Experience in construction plumbing is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations may be beneficial for transporting materials. Maintenance Person skills that extend beyond plumbing are a plus. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installations. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
