You preferably have experience in landscaping and previous supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all daily labor, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectivesCut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care dutiesSpray and dust areas to control insects and or weedsOperate power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, and snow blowersSupervise the work of crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivityInspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for return visits and/or re-work due to quality or customer satisfaction issuesTrain crew members on proper and safe job methodsConduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipmentAssist in other job-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenanceComplete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis, including: daily time and service record forms, equipment daily inspection forms, attendance tracking, requests for time off, etc.Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areasEnsure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with government and company PPE standardsComply with all company policies and regulationsWork in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulationsCommunicate with customers in a polite and courteous mannerCommunicate when budgeted hours are not aligned with actual hours required to perform workLawn Maintenance Foreman Requirements and QualificationsIdeal candidates must have at least one year of verifiable employment history as a maintenance foremanAll applicants for this position must have a drivers license with a clean record (no points, no DUI)Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under tight deadlinesAbility to motivate and lead subordinatesAbility to communicate effectively with crew members and Operations ManagerStrong commitment to high quality of work and customer serviceAbility to read and understand maps for navigation and job planningBasic understanding of smartphone apps related to work requirements (e.g. work order entry, time entry, communication with Operations Manager)Ability xaygatp to communicate in EnglishAbility to communicate effectively with crew members and Operations ManagerApply common sense understanding to carry out tasksConstantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walkMust be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focusFrequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controlsFrequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance on surfaces that may be narrow and/or slipperyFrequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsExperience2 years minimum requiredWE ARE A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE WITH A PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND RANDOM TESTING.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Willingness to travel:50% (Required)Work Location: On the road
