Assistant Custodial Manager Admin
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Assistant Custodial Manager to support daily custodial operations and administrative functions. This role assists with supervising custodial staff, maintaining cleaning standards, scheduling, reporting, inventory management, and client communication.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily custodial operations
Supervise and support custodial staff during assigned shifts
Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards
Handle scheduling, attendance tracking, and work assignments
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Respond to client requests and resolve service concerns
Prepare reports, documentation, and administrative records
Support training and onboarding of new employees
Ensure OSHA and company safety compliance
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2–3 years of custodial, janitorial, or facility management experience preferred
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems)
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings if needed
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety regulations

Work Environment
The role primarily involves working within facility interiors, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. The candidate must be comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals and the physical demands of custodial work.
This role may require working from stairs, ladders or elevated platforms.
This is an essential position which may require work during inclement weather, evenings holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to operate custodial equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
