Medical Assistant
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements: Bring patients back to exam rooms and triage patientsLocate any necessary imaging, test results or reports for upcoming appointmentsPrepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc.Prepare for clinic by printing out patient information as requested by physicianAssist other team members as neededAssist with phone messagesMRI/CT scheduling/precertingPrepare for clinics by printing out progress notes and test resultsObtain physician signature on miscellaneous formsTravel locally to satellite offices as schedule requiresAssist with in-office proceduresProvide coverage for other clinical teams as neededFriendly and Professional patient communication when answering and returning patient phone calls, providing various forms of patient education and handouts, escorting patients to and from exam rooms, appointment/surgery reminder calls, responding to and chart patient messages and communicating test results to patients with direction from physician Must also possess: Clinical experience in healthcare or orthopedics a plusAbility to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staffAbility to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlinesOutstanding organizational, verbal and writing skillsIndependent, self-starting and highly motivatedStrong patient care and interpersonal skillsProven positive, "teamwork" attitude and work history Physical Demands: Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfullyFrequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipmentConstant standing and walking for long periods of timeMust be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areasConsistently work at a productive paceMust readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes To apply please visit: Equal Opportunity Employer
