Our team specializes in MEP service, repairs, and 24/7 emergency support for commercial facilities, delivering reliable solutions our clients depend on.We are currently seeking a Construction Skilled Laborer to support commercial tenant improvement projects in retail environments. This role involves demolition, carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish work. Candidates should have at least three years of commercial construction experience and be comfortable working a variety of shifts, including nights as needed.This position follows a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with occasional overnight and travel requirements.Work ResponsibilitiesDemo walls, cabinets, counter tops, masonry and interior doorsInstall wood carpentry, framing, and cabinetryInstall flooring as neededCut, install or repair drywall includes taping and muddingHang interior doors and install casing or trimPrepare and clean-up job sites for paintingPaint repairs and properly dispose of painting materialsProvide updates to foreman and supervisors regarding estimated time of completion on repairs or upgradesReport inventory on materials and supplies to supervisorsAbility to work in a team environment or independentlyAdditional duties may be assigned as neededRequirements:Three or more years of recent skilled construction experiencePossess trade and hand tools to perform the workAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentProficient English communication skills to write reports and emailsA valid and insurable driving recordingPass a pre-employment drug testAbout the CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
