Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant to support a partner at Origin Public Relations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about entertainment, media, talent representation, and pop culture who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within the publicity industry.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day maintenance on clients, including directly interfacing with the client and their team Communicate regularly with supervisor and teams on status of projects Pitch and deliver results to clients and team Participate in team strategy calls internally and externally Coordinate hair/makeup/styling/grooming for talent Create and maintain client schedules, trade announcements, press releases, memos, photo releases, press kits, pitch bibles and biosHandle photo/video approvals Keep track of incoming requests that require follow up and respond as promptly as possibleCommunicate efficiently and begin to cultivate relationships with external publicists, bookers and pressLearn Office365 suite of applications: Outlook, Word, etc. as well as media & analytics platforms and tools including MuckRack/Cision and imdbPro Participate in new business development as needed and appropriate Submit overtime in a timely fashion Share suggestions and handle posting for Origin's social channels Learn to prioritize time for emails, schedules, research, enrichment Communicate proactively with professionalism Service clients with digital breaks/set Google alerts for all clients Organize logistics for talent’s press activities from the beginning to the end of a campaignCoordinate interview schedules, press days, junkets, premieres, events, and travel logisticsTrack cultural moments, trends, and media opportunities relevant to clientsSupport on-the-ground execution at premieres, screenings, festivals, and press events as neededIf applicable, manage supervisor workflow and communicate deadlines and priorities If applicable, manage calendars, phones, expenses, and administrative tasks for executives
