CONTRACT JOB OPENING: Social Media Manager (Must live in Lexington, KY area)About Us:Isabel Ladd Interiors is a full-service Interior Design firm based in Lexington, Kentucky. We create bold, colorful, and unique spaces for our clients, ranging from residential and boutique commercial designs to Social Media collaborations. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Social Media Manager with a strong visual and brand-focused mindset to elevate our online presence and engage with our design-savvy audience.Position Summary:This is a remote contract position, but requires regular shoots in Lexington, Kentucky; close proximity to Lexington is required. You will be self-employed and paid as an independent contractor, not an employee of Isabel Ladd Interiors.As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for implementing our firm's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and elevate brand partnerships. The ideal candidate is inspired by interior design, has a sharp eye for details and brand voice, and has a proven track record of growing social media channels, particularly visually-driven platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok.Key Responsibilities:Strategy and Planning:Execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the firm's overall brand and business goals.Content Creation:Conceptualize, create, and publish high-quality, on-brand content. This includes photos, videos, reels, stories, and carousels. These showcase our design projects, BTS content, brand partnerships, and industry expertise.Write engaging and creative copy for all social media posts and campaigns, maintaining a consistent brand voice.Manage the LTK and Shop My platforms. Coordinate content and create graphics for LTK and upload products to ShopMy.Manage Linktree links and create automated response workflows triggered by new LTK posts.Community Engagement:Monitor all social channels and engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.Engaging on Instagram before and after posting according to the Instagram algorithm needs to show activity on the platform.Cultivate relationships via social with relevant brands and industry professionals to expand our reach and potential collaborations.Analytics and Reporting:Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and website traffic.Provide regular reports on social media performance and offer data-driven insights to refine future strategies.Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, applying them creatively to our content strategy.Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest + LinkedIn.Collaboration:Work closely with Isabel and the team to coordinate content, promote firm initiatives, and ensure brand consistency.Oversee the creation and approval process for brand deliverables, ensuring all content meets deadlines and partner expectations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience:Proven experience (3+ years) managing and growing social media accounts for design, lifestyle, or luxury brands.Design and Visual Acumen:A strong eye for design and aesthetics, with a portfolio of high-performing visual content.Strong Photography and Videography skills REQUIRED.Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Frame-io, and Canva.)Strategy and Analysis:Deep understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, Pinterest Analytics).Experience with social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Meta Ads Manager)Communication:Exceptional creative writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.Skills:Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Self-motivated, proactive, and independent, with a passion for online communication and design.Attention to detail in all aspects, especially visual and written details.Implements feedback right away.How to Apply: Please submit your resume, a brief cover letter explaining your relevant experience, and a portfolio of links to social media accounts you have created and managed.
