Overview As an Analog Design Engineer at Cirrus Logic, you will design high-performance analog and mixed-signal IC blocks for consumer and embedded applications. You’ll contribute from concept through silicon validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturable solutions. You’ll work on data converters, power management, and amplifiers in advanced CMOS processes, shaping next-generation ICs for top brands. This role offers hands-on silicon bring-up, testing, and optimization within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesDesign analog and mixed-signal IC blocks from concept to production (data converters, power management, amplifiers)Define architectures and perform transistor-level design with tools like Matlab, Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, and SimulinkSimulate and verify circuit and chip-level performance using Spectre and mixed-signal methodsLead or support layout, post-layout simulation, and performance optimization with DRC/LVS closurePerform silicon bring-up, lab validation, debug, and post-silicon characterizationCollaborate with digital, layout, test, and systems teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designsSupport product validation, characterization, and production test development via analysis and silicon learningContribute to design reviews, technical documentation, and reusable analog infrastructure Key requirementsBachelor’s with 2+ years of IC design experience or Master’s with 0+ yearsStrong CMOS analog and mixed-signal design foundationDeep understanding of analog design flow: architecture, design, integration, verification, silicon validationProficiency with Matlab, Spectre, Verilog-A, SystemVerilogKnowledge of device physics, noise analysis, stability, and control theoryHands-on lab experience with silicon debug and validationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and collaborative in fast-paced environmentsAnalytical mindsetProblem solvingStrong communicationCMOS analog and mixed-signal IC designVerilog-ASystemVerilog
