This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic, high-volume practice serving a diverse patient population.What We RequireEducation: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Program or Accredited Physician Assistant Program.Experience: Clinical experience appropriate to specific practice/ department preferred.Licensure, certification, and/or registration: License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) as set forth by the state of Virginia. If Nurse Practitioner, license to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current PALS/NPR, as required, specific to position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS) as required, specific to position.     Other Minimum Qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills.
