Job Opportunity: Physical TherapistOur organization is in search of a committed Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This role involves delivering comprehensive rehabilitation support to individuals recovering from various illnesses, injuries, or surgical procedures. You will engage with a varied group of adult patients who may have neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and other intricate medical issues.Utilizing your clinical knowledge, you will conduct detailed assessments, set functional objectives in partnership with patients and their families, and create personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and independence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, neuromuscular re-education, balance and coordination activities, and post-surgical rehabilitation.Employ suitable rehabilitation equipment and modalities while closely monitoring patient responses and modifying treatment plans to achieve optimal results.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care.Collaborate as a key member of a compassionate, patient-centered interdisciplinary team, working alongside physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.Engage in care planning, case conferences, discharge planning, and patient education to facilitate safe transitions and long-term success in home or community settings.Requirements and QualificationsMust be a licensed Physical Therapist.Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills are essential.A genuine commitment to assisting patients in regaining function and enhancing their quality of life.Working ConditionsThis full-time role is primarily based on-site within a hospital rehabilitation environment, with the possibility of some hybrid responsibilities depending on patient and departmental requirements.
