Brief DescriptionThe County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.We are seeking a part-time Custodian for County Materials in Astatula, FloridaJob DutiesResponsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas in office and manufacturing facilities; offices, restrooms, common spaces, and other designated areas to maintain a hygienic environment.Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing minor damages, and ensuring that facilities are in proper working condition.Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items to ensure that facilities are well-stocked and prepared for use.Manage waste disposal processes, including emptying trash cans, recycling materials, and ensuring compliance with waste management regulations.Recognize any issues pertaining to compliance with safety regulations, sanitation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.Interact with team members and visitors, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing assistance as needed.Specialized cleaning duties such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or cleaning sensitive equipment, as needed.Maintain records related to cleaning schedules, supply inventory, maintenance tasks, and other relevant documentation.Occasional minimal location landscaping to be performed including clearing snow.Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Work EnvironmentOffice and manufacturing facility environments.Day work hours.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 pounds and to frequent bending, lifting and standing for long periodsStanding / Walking / Climbing.Experience & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience in cleaning, maintenance, or facilities rolesAttention to detailTrustworthySelf-motivated and the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervisionPunctual, a strong work ethic and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel locally is a plusGood driving recordBasic cleaning equipment suppliedSummaryThe County Materials Family of Companies connects candidates with rewarding careers in concrete manufacturing, an industry that’s growing faster than most.
