Join us.The Manager, Proposals leads and develops a team of Proposal Leads, Pricing Analysts/Specialists, and/or and Proposal Writers responsible for delivering highquality, compliant, and competitive customer proposals. This role is accountable for proposal execution excellence, along with consistent application of pursuit processes, quality standards, and best practices. The Manger Proposals provides leadership, coordination, and troubleshooting while partnering closely with Sales, Services, Legal, and PBUs, while also managing and mentoring their team. Duties and ResponsibilitiesPeople Leadership and Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a highperforming team of Proposal Leads, Pricing Analysts/Specialists, and Proposal Writers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable culture focused on customer outcomesSet clear expectations for quality, responsiveness, and execution excellence while supporting team members through regular feedback, recognition, and authentic leadershipServe as an escalation point for complex or highrisk pursuits, providing strategic guidance, removing obstacles, and enabling agile decisionmakingSupport hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, and career development to build a scalable and futureready proposal organizationProposal Delivery and OversightManage daytoday intake and assignment of proposal requests, ensuring balanced workloads and ontime delivery across concurrent pursuitsEnsure all proposals-including RFIs, RFPs, demonstrations, bestandfinal offers, and postselection activities-are compliant, compelling, and aligned to customer and utility industry requirementsReview and approve proposal strategies, executive summaries, pricing approaches, and final deliverables for priority and strategic opportunitiesActively participate in proposal response management and pricing development as needed to ensure customerfocused, competitive solutionsProcess, Quality, and Continuous ImprovementDrive consistent application of proposal processes, tools, templates, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, proposal content libraries)Establish and uphold quality standards for compliance, messaging consistency, and valuebased storytelling tailored to Utilities & Energy customersIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation through process optimization, technology adoption, and bestpractice sharingCrossFunctional CollaborationPartner closely with Sales and Commercial leadership to align proposal execution with pursuit strategy, pricing objectives, and longterm customer valueCollaborate with Services, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, unified, and innovative responsesServe as a trusted advisor to sales teams, offering insights on proposal approach, customer expectations, and differentiated positioning in the Utilities & Energy marketRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in proposal management, bid management, sales operations, or a related function, within a technologydriven environmentDemonstrated ability to lead complex, crossfunctional proposal efforts under tight deadlines while remaining agile and customerfocusedStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to shape executivelevel customer messagingBachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Salesforce, and proposal management toolsPreferred Skills & ExperiencePrior peoplemanagement experience leading proposal, pricing, or sales support teamsExperience supporting enterprise or regulated customers, preferably within the Utilities & Energy sectorFamiliarity with structured proposal methodologies and continuous improvement practicesDemonstrated ability to innovate and scale proposal processes in a fastpaced, growthoriented organizationBenefits Info:This position also includes a competitive benefit package including; financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more!The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. The base salary is $96,000-175,000 annually.
