*Job Title: Export Coordinator* *Location:* 12631 GA HWY, Darien, GA 31305 *Employment Type:* Full-Time *Website:* https://permacoldlogistics.com/ *Job Summary* PermaCold Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Export Coordinator to manage documentation and operational requirements for the international export of temperature-controlled food products. This position coordinates with customers, warehouse operations, transportation providers, freight forwarders, and USDA/FSIS personnel to ensure export shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare, review, and maintain documentation required for international export shipments * Process USDA/FSIS export applications and certifications through the Public Health Information System (PHIS) * Review destination-country requirements and verify product and establishment eligibility for export * Ensure product information, quantities, weights, lot numbers, and other shipment details are accurate and consistent across documentation * Coordinate with customers, USDA/FSIS inspectors, freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and warehouse personnel regarding export shipments * Coordinate shipment scheduling, inspections, staging, loading, and required documentation * Maintain complete and organized export records for regulatory, customer, audit, and traceability purposes * Identify and resolve documentation, product, or shipment discrepancies before they result in delays or compliance issues * Assist with export audits, SOPs, training, and process improvements as needed *Qualifications* * Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook * Ability to interpret regulations, instructions, and country-specific requirements * Ability to work effectively with customers, government officials, inspectors, carriers, and warehouse personnel * High school diploma or equivalent required *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in export documentation, international logistics, cold storage, food distribution, or freight forwarding * Experience with USDA/FSIS-regulated meat or poultry products * Experience with USDA PHIS and export certification * Familiarity with FSIS Forms 9060-6, 9060-5, and 9080-3 * Experience with refrigerated or frozen food products * Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) *Working Conditions* * Primarily office-based position with regular interaction with warehouse operations * May require entry into refrigerated, cooler, and freezer environments * Must follow facility food-safety, PPE, security, and operational requirements * May require flexible hours to accommodate export inspections, shipment schedules, and transportation deadlines *Benefits* * 401K * Opportunities for advancement * Training and development opportunities * Health Insurance, PTO Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
