St. Lukes University Health Network, the regions largest, most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nations 100 Top Hospitals is seeking a Board Certified fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team of physicians providing excellent care at St. Lukes Childrens Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA.To learn more about our Childrens Hospital and pediatric services, please visitPosition Overview:Must be board-certified fellowship trained PEM physicianCurrent shifts are 11 AM to 9 PM (10 hour) and we are working towards the goal of 24/7 coverageMalpractice coveragePediatric trained nurses are available 24/76-bed unit expanding to 11 bedsEM resident support for all PEM shiftsAbout the St. Lukes Childrens Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine:* The Pediatric Emergency Department at St. Lukes Childrens Hospital is a 6 bed unit (currently undergoing an expansion project to 11 beds) providing care to over 10,000 children per year.* St. Lukes Childrens Hospital and Department of Pediatrics consists of inpatient, neonatal, emergency medicine, specialty and primary care providers spread across a variety of practice locations.* Pediatric EM providers can admit patients to the Childrens Hospitals 17 bed inpatient unit and 8 bed PICU.
