Diagnostic Radiologist
Position Overview:A leading hospital system in Las Vegas is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join a high-performing radiology team. This role provides comprehensive image interpretation, supports image-guided procedures, and delivers high-quality patient care across a variety of modalities in both inpatient and emergency settings.Key Responsibilities:Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammographyProvide timely and accurate reads for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases in a high-volume environmentPerform and/or support image-guided procedures as neededCollaborate with physicians, surgeons, and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planningEnsure accurate and thorough documentation of findings and reportsParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesMaintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standardsQualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institutionMinimum of three (3) years of clinical experience practicing as a radiologistActive license to practice medicine in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain)Board Certified or Board Eligible in RadiologyCertifications (as required):American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required depending on assignmentPreferred Qualifications:Board certification in Diagnostic and/or Interventional RadiologyFellowship training in a radiology subspecialtyExperience interpreting across multiple modalities (e.g., X-ray, nuclear medicine, mammography)Proven ability to manage high case volumes with accuracy and efficiencySkills & Competencies:Strong proficiency with radiology systems and imaging technologyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teamsCommitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellenceWork Environment:Hospital-based setting supporting ER, inpatient, and outpatient servicesHigh-volume, team-oriented radiology departmentOpportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and diverse case mixWhy Join:Established and respected hospital systemCollaborative clinical environmentDiverse and challenging caseload
