Service Manager Needed!

Job DescriptionOur team has partnered with a highly respected agricultural machinery dealership who is currently seeking a Service Manager to join their team. Recognized today as a global leader in powerful, reliable, and highly efficient equipment that helps professional farmers meet the challenges of modern farming. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in John Deere and similar equipment. Other qualifications include: • 3+ years experience in Service Department operations• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions• Talent for writing and speaking effectively to individuals and groups• Skill to analyze and interpret internal reports• Ability to work extended hours and weekends• Excellent customer service skillsResponsibilities include: • Scheduling and assigning jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge• Assists with the development and training of service personnel• Monitors service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals• Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Service Marketing Plan• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position• Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe If you are ready to start the new year off with new beginnings, here is your opportunity!
