ResponsibilitiesSupport buyer on PO management through pulling and sorting WB to be sent out for RFQProvide analysis and suggestions for PO placement to be reviewed and approved by buyer/managementSupport indirect purchasing through Req processingSupport buyer for indirect reqs supporting the shop floorWork to support Buyer on Key Vendor RelationshipOrder book management and alignment through expedite requestsWork specifically on set vendors with weekly OOR follow-ups and expedite requestsEngage with associated buyer with feedback and troubleshooting for issues as determined through data reviewSupplier visitsSchedule 2 visits to local vendors in NW areaGo onsite w/ associated buyer to review vendor capability and healthEach visit provide report out for visit including observations and takeawaysProvide a presentation at the end of the internship showing accomplishments, lessons learned, and suggestions for improvement.Role will be onsite M-F in NW w/ remote work on Friday due to plant closure
