This team specializes in understanding hardware demands for maintenance performed at the Unit (military base) level. This individual will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing supply chain forecasting processes through detailed analysis and performance metrics. This position will provide the selected candidate with the opportunity to contribute to a team that will look to help solve global sustainment inventory optimization challenges, communicate trends and provide insight through data collection and analysis.What Will You DoProvide strong leadership to the Unit Level Forecasting Team, including mentorship, advocacy, and development opportunitiesEnsure Gross Issue Effectiveness (GIE) targets are met, hardware in the right place at the right time; support aggregate demand planning, proposal activity, and management of target stock levels (TSLs)Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders to manage inputs to model; prepare and present modeling outputs, including performance data, to leadership and other key stakeholdersManage and develop dashboards needed to support the F135 Supply Chain network, including developing methods of modeling new emerging issues to align the forecast model with program needsUnderstand program initiatives and the impact the unit level part needs, including but not limited to the Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) and Advanced Lifing Algorithms (ALAs)Lead process improvement CORE initiatives to support continuous improvement across forecasting functionsQualifications You Must HaveBachelor's degree8 years of supply chain management, business, data analytics, or Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or An advanced degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, business, data analytics, or Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractPreferred QualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvementExcellent communication skills and ability to work within a cross-functional organization at all levels including senior leadership5+ years proficiency of the following: SAP, PowerBI, Oracle SQL, Python ProgrammingUnderstanding of forecasting tools, including but not limited to time-series forecasting, SPM and FLOSIMExperience in developing and working with metrics, KPIs, performance dashboards, Project ManagementExperience in Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial Power industries.Proficiency in relevant software tools (Microsoft Office products, discreet modeling software, data visualization tools)
