Data Remediation Analyst

Job Title : Data Remediation AnalystLocation: Boston, MA or New York, NY is a Plus - Remote AllowedWage Range: 80-88 depending on years of experience and qualificationsJob Number: 24-01449Job Description: Our client, a global bank, has an immediate opening for a Data Remediation Analyst preferably work from their Boston, MA or New York, NY offices, but remote from the U.S. is supported as well. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dedicated and detail-oriented Data Remediation Analyst with a strong background in data management, who is passionate about making a positive impact in the financial industry. In this role, the person will be responsible for driving the data remediation efforts in the CDO which includes but not limited to: Develop and implement a comprehensive data remediation plan Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps or data quality issues Monitor and track progress of data remediation efforts, and provide regular updates to management Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure data integrity Identify areas for process improvement and recommend efficient procedures Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of data remediation efforts Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may hinder the success of remediation activities Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any mitigation concerns or questionsCore Requirements 5-10 years of experience Conduct analysis of business processes and functional requirements Ability to document, communicate and validate findings Identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources, and system specifications. Ability to translate business problems into requirements, process changes, test cases, data mapping, etc. Proficient in MMS Office applications, experience with MS Project a plus Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to data transformation, functions/expressions, VBA, Macros Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL or other coding language a plusEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
