We are looking for a welder to join our growing team on weekend shift at our Shakopee location!Our Offer to You:Starting pay (based on experience) + 3rd shift differential401K and profit sharing retirement planMedical, dental and vision insurancePaid vacation, sick leave, parental leave and holidaysTuition reimbursementA diverse and inclusive workforceIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG and/or MIG.May operate program welding machine to weld production units and also assist machine welding operator in program welding higher volume production units when work load requires it.Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product.Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements.Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts.Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required.For This Role, You Will Need:Three (3) years of welding experience and a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED), OROne (1) year of welding experience and verified completion of a welding certificate programMust obtain and maintain applicable company welding certifications.Solid work history showing record of dependabilityMust be 18 years of ageAuthorized to work in the United StatesPositions are contingent upon the passing a pre-employment screeningPhysical requirementsMust be able to stand for 80% of the shiftBe able to frequently move equipment and products weighing up to 25 poundsCommunicate in English without an interpreterOur Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
