Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for performing general accounting and reporting functions for the Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA) business group. As a member of the Record-to-Report team, you will be responsible for certain centralized functions with the opportunity to grow and learn new functions. What You Get To DoPerform general accounting and reporting activities: Prepare journal entries Prepare account reconciliations Calculate accruals and allocations Calculate eliminations and adjustments Create and analyze reports Research account variances and prepare explanations Investigate and help resolve accounting and reporting issues Prepare intercompany invoices and confirmations Standardize general accounting and reporting processes across AFNA Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies Support Finance Directors, Controllers, and FP&A in reporting and analysis of results Ensure compliance with Amcor accounting policies and U.S. GAAP Maintain strong internal controls environment Provide audit support to external and internal auditors as needed Demonstrate and support Amcor core values What We ValueSafety Integrity Collaboration Accountability Results What We Want From YouBachelor's degree in Accounting 0 to 3 years of accounting or financial reporting and analysis experience Knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
