This role is responsible for embedding quality into daily operations, strengthening process discipline, and ensuring consistent product performance across the organization.In a multi-site, matrixed environment, you will guide plant quality teams, align cross-functional partners, and drive consistency in systems, metrics, and execution. A key focus is Total Customer Quality—linking voice of the customer, field performance, and warranty trends to corrective and preventive actions that reinforce brand trust.WHAT YOU WILL DOShape and Advance the Quality SystemEstablish and scale a cohesive Quality Management System aligned with ISO standards and business prioritiesStandardize tools, governance, and routines (audits, control plans, CAPA, management reviews)Integrate quality into strategic and operational decision-making across engineering, sourcing, and productionTranslate business objectives into clear quality strategies and operating standardsDrive Measurable ImprovementLead structured problem-solving efforts (8D, A3, root cause analysis) to resolve systemic issuesImprove process capability using SPC and statistical methodsReduce defects, scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality while improving throughput and yieldEmbed Quality in Engineering and ProductionEstablish material quality standards, configuration control, and nonconformance processesEnsure effective documentation, training, and production ownership on the shop floorPartner with Engineering on risk mitigation for product changes and new product introductions (FMEA, control plans, PPAP/FAI)Strengthen Customer and Field Performance (Total Customer Quality)Develop customer quality scorecards and lead customer-facing responses (8D, technical communications)Drive resolution of complaints, returns, and warranty issues with verified corrective actionsConnect VOC, CTQs, and field data to continuous improvement systemsLead Brand Stewardship and ProtectionAlign cross-functional decisions (deviations, concessions, releases) with risk and brand commitmentsDefine and champion quality standards across product performance, packaging, and deliveryEstablish escalation and rapid response processes for customer-impacting eventsElevate Supplier QualityDefine supplier quality standards and performance expectationsLead supplier audits, evaluations, and corrective actionsSupport supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance managementEnsure Compliance and Audit ReadinessLead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findingsMaintain compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable standardsPromote proactive risk management across sitesBuild Organizational CapabilityDevelop and mentor quality teams across multiple sitesStrengthen problem-solving and technical capability organization-wideDrive accountability and ownership of quality within OperationsQualifications:10+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including multi-site leadershipBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related fieldStrong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001Experience integrating quality into engineering and production (FMEA, control plans, change management)Background in customer-facing quality and supplier quality systemsLean or Six Sigma experience preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skillsAbility to influence across functions in a matrixed environmentWillingness to travel between manufacturing sitesLEADERSHIP COMPETENCIESAbility to influence without direct authority in a complex organizationStructured, calm leadership during escalations and high-pressure situationsStrong customer focus with an emphasis on brand integritySystems thinking and root-cause orientationExecutive presence with clear, confident communicationHigh accountability with a bias for actionWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageEmployer-paid life and short-term disability insuranceGenerous PTO and Employee Assistance ProgramOptional supplemental insurance coverage401(k) with company match (up to 5%)Opportunities for growth and leadership impact in a global organizationWHY JOIN US?This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape how quality is defined and executed across a growing, multi-site manufacturing organization.
