Job DescriptionLead maintenance and facility activities to ensure operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment and infrastructure. This individual will be part of the factory leadership team, working closely with other functions to ensure an efficient operation. Leading a team of experienced journeymen and supporting the development of apprentices completing a registered apprenticeship program are vital to the success of the site.ResponsibilitiesManage preventive and corrective maintenance programsLead maintenance teams and external contractorsEnsure high equipment uptime and reliabilityDevelop maintenance strategies and continuous improvement plansMonitor maintenance KPIs and budgetsEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsSupport capital investment and infrastructure projectsSupport the development of new skills within the maintenance teamProvide a high level of communication to other members of leadership and operations supervisionQualificationsDegree in Engineering or related technical fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities managementLeadership experience in technical teamsKnowledge of maintenance systems (CMMS)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills
