Alaska Licensed Health Coach

A company is looking for an Alaska Health Coach (NBC-HWC). Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one coaching to members managing or at risk for chronic health conditions through various communication channels Educate and empower members in setting and achieving SMART health goals using evidence-based guidelines Partner with healthcare teams to improve member experience, outcomes, and reduce avoidable costsRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationAssociate degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field Completion of a training program approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) At least one year of experience in a health coaching-related field preferred Experience working with individuals managing chronic conditions is preferred Strong understanding of health behavior change theories and their practical application
