RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Days This is a 13-week contract position. Days: 4x9-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with variable days Monday to Friday. Includes two on-call shifts weekly and two weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule. Coverage for the July 4th weekend is required. The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized nursing care in the cath lab environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operation of the cardiovascular services department. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Prepare and assist physicians during cath lab procedures. Monitor patient vitals and reactions during and after procedures. Administer medications and IVs as prescribed. Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families. Document patient care and report changes in patient status. Participate in on-call rotation as required. Current RN license in good standing. Strong clinical background and experience in a cardiovascular setting preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
