Commercial Carpenter / Finish Carpenter (Interiors) – Up to $32/hr

The Premier Group is hiring Commercial Finish Carpenters of all levels to support active commercial projects across the Austin area. We’re looking for dependable Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters to assist with interior build-outs, millwork, and architectural finish work. Who This Is For Carpenters with experience in metal framing, drywall, or finish carpentry Tradespeople with commercial interior or TI project experience Installers familiar with doors, hardware, ceilings, wall systems, or millwork Job Duties Team members in this role will support a variety of commercial interior construction scopes, including: Installation of architectural millwork, casework, and specialty components Work with plastic laminate (PL), woodwork, and finish systems Metal stud framing and drywall installation Hanging, patching, and finishing drywall Installation of doors, frames, and hardware (DFH) Acoustical ceiling systems (ACT) and specialty ceilings Interior demolition and layout for commercial build-outs Pre-planning work: tools, materials, and efficient installation methods Reading blueprints and coordinating with other trades Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite Requirements Experience in finish carpentry, drywall, metal framing, or commercial construction preferred Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic layout Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Reliable transportation and positive work ethic Ability to work full-time on commercial jobs Benefits Pay up to $32/hr, based on experience Health, Dental, Vision benefits starting Day One Weekly pay PPE provided (hard hat, vest, glasses, gloves) PTO + 401(k) with match Referral bonus program Apply today to join The Premier Group as a Finish Carpenter For immediate consideration, call 512-351-8194 AUS1 Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
