With a current $1.8M valuation (Berkus Method) and established partnerships, we are scaling our three core pillars: sensory-driven Legacy Kits, on-site engagement services, and our flagship digital platform, the Legacy Leisure Vault (launching Q4 2026).The OpportunityWe are seeking a high-caliber Co-Founder to lead our capital strategy and strategic growth initiatives. This is a foundational role for a "builder" who wants significant skin in the game. You will be responsible for leading our pre-seed round and preparing the organization for a full seed round in early 2027.Key Responsibilities• Capital Acquisition: Lead a pre-seed round with a target seven-figure valuation.• Investor Relations: Develop a pipeline of mission-aligned angel investors and venture capital firms.• Strategic Partnerships: Secure regional and national alliances with senior care providers.• Growth Operations: Scale our on-site engagement services in preparation for the Vault launch.Compensation & Equity StructureAs this is a Co-Founder role, initial compensation is equity-based. We offer a sophisticated equity package designed to reward long-term partnership:• Equity Stake: 15% Founding Equity.• Vesting Schedule: 4-year vesting with a 1-year "cliff" to ensure mission alignment.• Governance: The equity agreement includes a Right of First Refusal (RTFR) clause, ensuring the integrity and closely-held nature of our cap table.• Future Salary: A competitive executive salary will be triggered upon the successful closing of the pre-seed round.Who You Are• A seasoned professional with a track record in fundraising, venture capital, or entrepreneurship.• Someone who understands the "Silver Economy" and is passionate about senior care innovation.• A strategic thinker who can navigate complex valuations and cap table management.• A resident of (or willing to travel to) the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area to maintain local community ties (Rotary, Chambers of Commerce).Requirements• Proven experience securing six-to-seven-figure funding or scaling a startup.• Deep understanding of equity structures, convertible notes, and SAFEs.• Entrepreneurial grit: You are comfortable working for equity to build a multi-million dollar legacy.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief summary of your most significant fundraising or strategic growth achievement.
