This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in maintaining strong financial operations within a stable, locally respected company.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant role located in Tulsa, OK. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, preparing and maintaining accounting records, and supporting the management team in decision-making. Daily tasks may include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The role also entails collaboration with internal teams to improve financial processes and outcomes.Specific Duties include:• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity• Assist with financial reporting and internal analysis• Support audits and special projects as neededQualificationsStrong accounting fundamentals, including experience with general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processingKnowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance regulationsProficient in using accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective oral and written communication abilities to collaborate across teamsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldPrior experience in accounting roles, particularly in relevant industries, is preferredExperience with Sage products, specifically Sage Intacct, is preferred, but not required
