Title: Event Coordinator Location: On-site offices and event locations Dates: May 2026- October 2026 Reports To: Sales & Events Manager Department: Guest Services Pay Rate: $18-20 DOE plus tips Housing: No housing provided Summary of Position Event Staff members are essential to ensuring a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable guest experience. They assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the event coordination team in all operational needs. Responsibilities Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, signage, and décor according to event plans Greet and direct guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor Provide excellent customer service throughout the event, addressing guest questions and needs promptly Support food and beverage service, including replenishing items, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness Monitor event areas for cleanliness, safety, and order; promptly address any hazards or issues Follow timelines and instructions from the Group Coordinator and or Sales & Event Manager Assist with technical setup as needed (lighting, AV, microphones, heaters, etc.) Break down and clean up event spaces after use, returning equipment and supplies to storage Uphold company standards for hospitality, appearance, and conduct Position Requirements Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure environments Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving Provide excellent customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations Present a positive image of the company in an upbeat, professional manner Ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact, in a positive way, with many different personality styles Knowledge and Experience Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: Six (6) months hospitality, customer service, bartending, or event experience preferred Company Benefits 401K plan for seasonal and year-round employees, with company matching after 1 year 56 hours of paid sick time which can also be used as PTO Medical, Vision, Dental, Pet Insurance for year-round employees Employee parking on site Competitive pay rates Employee Assistance Program Returning seasonal job offers 50% discount off hotel rooms & camp site (based on occupancy and GM approval) 50% discount off retail merchandise (including jewelry) 25% off Deli & Convenience 50% off meals for a family of four for a special occasion (excludes alcoholic beverages) Site 50% discounted meals while on the clock Working for ExplorUS which allows ability to transfer to other locations throughout the US Our Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
