You are entrusted with patient safety, comfort, communication, and environmental awareness throughout every phase of treatment.This role requires technical discipline, emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and a servant’s heart.Core Responsibilities(This role is highly trained, safety-critical, and purpose-driven)Before the DivePrepare and organize the chamber environmentAssist patients with hood/mask fitting, positioning, and comfortEducate patients on expectations, safety signals, and communicationDuring Compression & TreatmentMonitor patients continuously for comfort, anxiety, and physiological changesCoach patients through equalization and breathing protocolsMaintain constant communication with the Console OperatorObserve for signs of oxygen toxicity, distress, or emergent conditionsDuring Decompression & ExitProvide calm reassurance and patient guidanceAssist with safe unloading and post-treatment observationSupport documentation and chamber resetPeople First (PF) Self‑Assessment: Document 2-3 sentences on how the dive met PF standards (dignity, calm communication, stewardship, and patient advocacy) -including one strength, one improvement, and any follow‑up action needed.Emergency ReadinessServe as the primary in-chamber responder during emergenciesExecute fire, medical, or decompression protocols without panic(Full duties and expectations are defined in the Inside Tender Safety Policy & Procedure)Training, Development & MasteryWe do not place people into chambers - we form professionals.You Will ReceiveComprehensive hyperbaric safety and operations trainingOngoing competency validation and emergency drillsCPR/BLS certification supportAnnual continuing education and structured skill developmentPersonal and professional mastery or People First principlesWe expect growth.
