IDR Filing Specialist

Clearest Health is building the most advanced Independent Dispute Resolution platform in healthcare. We help out-of-network providers recover underpaid claims under the No Surprises Act using proprietary benchmark data, automation, and expert filing operations.We’re hiring an IDR Filing Specialist who knows the NSA/IDR workflow and wants to do more than repetitive data entry. This role is for someone who can review a claim, understand what matters, spot filing risks, and move disputes forward with speed and accuracy. Our software handles much of the repetitive administrative work. Your experience, judgment, and attention to detail are what make the difference.What You’ll DoReview out-of-network claims, EOBs, remits, payer responses, and supporting documentation to determine IDR readinessPrepare and submit No Surprises Act IDR filings through the appropriate portalsTrack deadlines across open negotiation, initiation, batching, offer submission, and payment follow-upIdentify claim issues, missing documentation, payer inconsistencies, and filing risks before they become problemsWork with Clearest’s platform to manage dispute workflows, case statuses, and required documentationHelp improve our IDR filing playbooks as we scale from manual expertise to tech-enabled operationsPartner closely with the founding team on a fast-moving, high-impact part of the businessWhat Makes This Role DifferentThis is not a traditional data-entry job.Most IDR roles bury experienced operators in spreadsheets, portals, and repetitive status updates. At Clearest, the goal is to automate the mechanical parts and put experienced people where they matter most: reviewing claims, making judgment calls, catching edge cases, and filing disputes correctly.If you’ve worked in IDR, out-of-network billing, payer disputes, appeals, collections, or revenue cycle operations, we want your expertise, not just your typing speed.What We’re Looking ForExperience with No Surprises Act IDR, out-of-network claims, payer disputes, appeals, or healthcare revenue cycleFamiliarity with EOBs, remittance advice, CPT codes, payer underpayments, and claim documentationStrong attention to detail and comfort managing deadlinesAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environmentComfort using software tools, portals, spreadsheets, and workflow systemsClear written communication and organized documentation habitsBonus PointsDirect experience filing NSA IDR disputesExperience with CMS IDR portals, payer negotiations, batching, or arbitration documentationBackground in emergency medicine, anesthesia, radiology, surgery, or other OON-heavy specialtiesExperience at an IDR vendor, billing company, RCM firm, provider group, or payer dispute teamWhy Join ClearestClearest Health is building the operating system for IDR.
