Investment Operations - Senior Analyst (Private Debt)

With a culture built on entrepreneurialism, partnership and being a team within teams, our client offers joiners the opportunity to think out loud, collaboratively.The Investment Operations Senior Analyst/Associate will work on the coordination, execution and settlement of various Private Debt Investments. The Senior Analyst/Associate will be in contact with professionals across the company and will work with different external parties.Responsibilities Coordinate, execute and settle primary third-party fund investmentsCoordinate, execute and settle secondary market transactions:Purchases / sells / transfers / switches of fund positionsTransfers of private debt portfoliosTransfers of single private debt loansCoordinate, execute and settle non-standard Private Debt Co-InvestmentsCoordinate settlement of capital calls for closed-ended third-party fundsCollaborate with internal teams, custodians, board of directors, external fund administrators and investment managersUpdate trade trackers and ensure information flow to relevant stakeholdersParticipate in all pre-trade and post-trade calls and relevant approval committeesRespond to trade related queries from internal teams and external fund administratorsPerform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictateQualifications2-5 years of relevant experience in Middle office or other investment fund related role is preferred but not necessaryExperience in fund-of-fund trading or Private Debt is a plusDemonstrates commitment, accuracy and attention to detail, even in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentTakes initiative and ownership of responsibilities assignedAbility to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects and achieve target deadlinesHighly motivated with a willingness to learnPassion for fast-paced learning, especially in a technology-enabled environmentGood analytical skills with a flair for processes as well as good IT skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsSalary RangeAt Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $123,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only.
