Records and Information Management (RIM) Analyst - TS Clearance Required
Savan is seeking a Records Analyst to support the implementation of a federal client's records management program. To be successful in this position, you should have experience conducting business analysis in an information governance setting. You should be familiar with, and able to apply, Federal records management laws, regulations, and government wide policies. You will be expected to create and execute against records management policy and process requirements related to records identification, maintenance and disposal. Strong organizational and communication skills will be essential to the role.Role Responsibilities: Support creation, completion, validation, and application of records inventories, file plans, and records schedulesFile physical and electronic records according to established procedures and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.Analyze and execute the disposal or transfer of records as per retention schedules and legal requirements, including coordinating destruction or archival processes.Draft records management artifacts according to federal laws and guidance.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records by organizing, categorizing, and indexing documents, files, and other materials; Inputting and updating information into databases, spreadsheets, or other record-keeping systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Support execution of digitization activitiesSupport development of training materials across the RIM spectrumPerform routine audits and checks to verify the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of records, and taking corrective actions as needed.Qualifications and Requirements: 2+ years' experience supporting records management programsTop Secret Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications: Understanding of Federal records management laws, regulations, and practicesExperience applying or maintaining records inventories, file plans, and other related artifactsWorking knowledge of document/content management applications such as: SharePoint, Documentum, Google Workspace, Jira, etc.Strong and consistent business writingAbility to quickly analyze and understand key business processes and artifactsStrong organizational and business writing skillsWork Location and Schedule:Onsite, Washington, DCApplication ProcessSubmit your application to the link on this page.
