Service Coordinator

Purpose Assists the Service Manager thoroughly document all aspects of work performed on company owned and operated equipment and vehicles.Duties and Responsibilities Orders, tracks, and receives parts for crane repairs and maintenance.Labels and stages parts and materials for repairs and maintenance once received at the branch.Orders shop supplies and PPE for mechanics and technicians.Communicates with vendors via phone and email regarding shipments and orders.Opens and maintains work-orders and purchase-orders in RentalMan and OnBase systems.Assists the Service Manager with all aspects of service department - including communicating schedules with mechanics and technicians, ensuring paperwork is complete and accurate for work orders and machine documentation, and maintaining vendor and crane files.Completes weekly inventory cycle counts and assists with an annual audit in warehouse to maintain accuracy in ordering, receiving, usage and adjustments to inventory.Helps maintain warehouse order and cleanliness.Collects timesheets and billing tickets from mechanics and technicians and check for accuracy before submitting to payroll and billing departments.Performs other duties as assigned or required.Requirements Education:High School Diploma or GEDExperience:1+ years' experience in parts and service in a similar industry such as equipment rental, auto parts service, etc.1+ years' experience using a CMMS systemSkills/Knowledge:Advanced organizational, time management, and communication skillsModerate computer skills and knowledge of CMMS systemsModerate ability to build strategic working relationshipsAdvanced problem-solving skills and attention to detailsModerate level ability to read, comprehend, and create instructions, short correspondence and memos.Moderate level ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.Physical Demands:The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
