We provide a safe, supportive environment where children receive skilled nursing care, therapies, and education—offering families peace of mind and children the opportunity to thrive.We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Contract Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team.Location: Haines City, FL | Lakeland, FLEmployment Type: Contract | Flexible ScheduleSchedule: Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours OnlyCompensation: Competitive hourly rate | W-9 ContractorPosition OverviewAs a Contract Occupational Therapist at Pediatric Health Choice, you will work hands-on with children to assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy services that promote mobility, function, and developmental progress. You'll collaborate with nurses, physical and speech therapists, case managers, and families to support each child's holistic growth and health.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needsDesign and implement individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development and functional mobilityDeliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessionsMaintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulationsEducate and support families regarding therapeutic goals, home positioning programs, and mobility strategiesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviewsEnsure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practicesQualificationsCurrent state license to practice as an Occupational TherapistPrefer 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population experience preferred)Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skillsCurrent CPR certification and ability to pass a Level II background screeningWhy Join UsFlexible contract scheduling—create a workload that fits your availabilityCollaborative, supportive team environmentRewarding work with children who benefit deeply from physical therapyElectronic documentation systemMission-driven culture focused on family-centered carePediatric Health Choice is an equal opportunity employer.
