TQUKE0916_5580 - Performance Test EngineerJob Type: ContractWork Mode: Hybrid (2 Days from office)Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Test Strategy & PlanningDefine end-to-end performance testing strategy aligned with business and non-functional requirementsIdentify performance test scope, workloads, success criteria, and KPIsPrepare performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution schedulesParticipate in architecture and design reviews from a performance standpointTest Design & Script DevelopmentDesign and develop performance test scripts for load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testingCreate realistic workloads based on production usage patternsParameterize scripts, handle correlation, and apply best practices for script optimizationValidate test data, environments, and monitoring setup before executionTest Execution & AnalysisMonitor system behavior using application, database, and infrastructure metricsAnalyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks related to application code, APIs, databases, middleware, network, or infrastructureProduce detailed performance reports with findings, recommendations, and tuning suggestionsPerformance Engineering & OptimizationWork with developers, architects, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issuesSupport root cause analysis and validation of fixes through re‐testingProvide recommendations on capacity planning, scalability, and resilienceContribute to continuous performance optimization initiativesTools, Monitoring & CI/CD IntegrationIntegrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicableUse APM and monitoring tools to collect and analyze system metricsEnsure performance testing is part of release readiness and go‐live activitiesProvide technical guidance to junior performance testersStandardize performance testing processes, templates, and reportingDrive continuous improvement and adoption of performance engineering best practicesRequired Skills & ExperiencePerformance Testing Tools10–12 years of hands‐on experience in performance testingStrong expertise with one or more tools such as:LoadRunner (LR), JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoadTechnical & Engineering SkillsStrong understanding of client–server, web, microservices, and API‐based architecturesExperience testing web, mobile, and backend applicationsProficiency in analyzing server‐side metrics (CPU, memory, GC, threads, I/O)Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, REST APIs, messaging systems, and caching mechanismsHands‐on experience with SQL and database performance validationExperience with monitoring and APM tools such as:AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch (as applicable)Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)Experience testing applications hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with containerized and distributed systems (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plusMethodologiesStrong understanding of SDLC and STLCExperience working in Agile / Scrum and DevOps environmentsSoft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesAbility to work independently and handle complex production‐like environmentsProactive mindset with strong ownership and accountabilityPreferred QualificationsPerformance testing or cloud certificationExposure to SRE or production performance monitoringDomain experience in Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Telecom, or Healthcare#J-18808-Ljbffr
