We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThis Quality Control Inspector's primary responsibility is to conduct thorough vehicle inspections in order to ensure vehicle quality standards are maintained. Includes audit of the quality of GLOVIS services such as - under body coat applications, vehicle processing operations, PIO part installations, load line processes, export processes, body shop repairs and rail loading.ResponsibilitiesPerform new vehicle auditsMust be able to audit the quality of all GLOVIS services and have the ability to detect minor vehicle issuesInspect cars using GPQMS Audit App, specialized camera, and/or check sheetsProperly document results of the inspection and take pictures of non-conforming items and remain truthful when recording results of inspectionsAlert Supervisor/Manager of quality concerns immediatelyProvide feedback to resolve compliance issuesAudit employee compliance with standardized processes, procedures, bulletins, and work instructionsAssist with creating and monitoring corrective actions and countermeasureProvide input on how to correct known issues within various departmentsAssist with the development of audit strategiesAssist with training of new staff on quality inspectionsAssist with development and implementation of audit strategies, audit related policies and proceduresCommunicate the status of unresolved quality issuesAlert Supervisor/Manager of quality concerns that are found during inspection process immediatelyNotify Supervisor/Manager if units flagged for defects are not repaired in a timely mannerOther duties as assignedThis position is required to fill in where needed, including, but not limited to, all Tier 1 & 2 positionsSkillsGood written and verbal communication skills RequiredCritical thinking, analytical and organizational skills RequiredAbility to complete an assigned task in a safe and timely manner RequiredMaintain and promote good housekeeping RequiredBasic computer skills RequiredEducation & ExperienceMust have valid Driver's License Required1 year of Quality Control/Inspection experience PreferredGlovis America, Inc. adheres to the equal employment opportunity guidelines set forth by federal, state, and local laws.
