Reconditioning Technician

Kosmo Machine, a premier precision and climate-controlled contract manufacturer machine shop, specializing in CNC milling and turning, EDM machining, custom welding processes, and critical component reconditioning, is seeking a part-time to full-time Reconditioning Parts Technician to join our dynamic team. Compensation Start at $18 per hour; range from $18 to $22 per hour; non-exempt FLSA class, or $37,440 to $45,760 annually. Qualifications Must be available to work a rotating schedule, including every other Saturday and holidays. Ability to transport items safely and securely in company vehicles. Manufacturing experience and previous delivery and transport experience preferred, but not required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consisting of ear protection and gloves when working in the reconditioning room. Responsibilities Transport various parts to and from customers using company vehicles. Set up and operate various machines required to recondition parts safely and responsibly. Operate automatic ice blaster, manual ice blaster, wet blaster, and soda blasting equipment. Clean customer parts using blasting equipment, chemicals, and other supplies. Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts using jigs, gauges, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet customer specifications. Properly load and handle parts with or without lifting equipment. Work Schedule Required shift is 6 am to 2:30 pm; may be required to work past 2:30 if needed to meet customer demands. Employees must be available, not scheduled, to work Monday through Saturday. Eligibility Requirements U.S. Citizenship is required. Must pass criminal background check, drug test (to include marijuana), and provide updated copy of Motor Vehicle Report with a valid VA Driver's License and good driving record with no major violations.
