Project Coordinator

DescriptionRole: Project CoordinatorDepartment: Warehouse Equipment Project ImplementationLocation: Westfield, INEmployment Type: Full-TimeThis position will be responsible for many of the administrative tasks after a project has been sold, from generating and entering purchase orders, coordination of delivery, managing customer expectations, ensuring materials and personnel are coordinated,communicating with customers, following up on accounts receivables.Overall ResponsibilitiesCoordinate activities, resources, equipment, information related to specific jobsInterface with clients to identify and define project requirements and timelines for shipmentsInterface with clients and vendors to issue orders, invoices and collect on past due receivablesEnsure clients’ needs are met as project evolvesPrepare project proposal time frames, schedule and budgetMonitor and track progress of specific jobsProactively communicate project status to all internal and external stakeholdersUse project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and spendIssue all appropriate legal paperwork relating to specific jobsReconcile all completed jobs and submit for billingFollow up with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction and identify improvement opportunitiesEnter orders in company accounting systemPrepare reports as requestedParticipate in company process improvement initiatives as requested by managementKnowledge & Skills RequirementsProficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Project)BA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceProfessional QualitiesFast Paced Multi-TaskerStrong work ethicLeadership qualitiesStrong organizational skillsAbility to work with all team members to ensure on time accurate completionWork ConditionsOffice & field-oriented position with some overnight travel to project sites requiredOvertime and weekend work will be required periodicallyWhy work for Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company?Our greatest asset is our people.
